Horizontal filters

Horizontal filters in Shopify allow customers to filter products on collection pages or search results using a horizontal filter bar, providing a cleaner, more modern look that is especially mobile-friendly.

How to Customize the Horizontal Product Filters

1. Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Themes.

2. Click Customize on your active theme.

3. In the theme editor, navigate to the Default Collection Pages or Product Pages section.

4. Find the Filter and Sort option > Enable Filtering (select the horizontal filter).

5. Customize the filter display as needed.

Tips for Horizontal Filters

1. Use Dropdowns or Collapsible Menus

2. If you have many filter options (such as size, color, price), it’s a good idea to use dropdowns or collapsible menus to keep the filter bar clean and organized.
